Why does some information say that the 64 Days of Peace begins on January 30 while other things say it begins on January 31?

This 64 day educational, media and grassroots campaign was inspired by the 50th and 30th memorial anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi (January 30, 1948) and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (April 4, 1968). This year January 30 is a Sunday, so the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence begins its Season on Monday the 31st. If it makes the most sense for you, your classroom or group to begin on a Monday (or any other day), by all means do so.
